Book review of THE TENDER HOUR OF TWILIGHT: A Memoir of Publishing's Golden Age, by Richard Seaver, presented by Bill Roberts.  This posthumous memoir describes Paris and New York in the 1950's and 60's and the story of Grove Press, the avant guard publisher that changed for all time what could be published in the US.

Ethan Smith from Occupy Winston Salem will discuss the nationwide "Occupy" movement.

Frank Benedetti will speak on "MARRIAGE EQUALITY: What is it, how did the idea evolve, is it Constitutional and why is it important to our UU values"?

Janet Joyner will continue her series on Christian Dominionism with a session entitled "Faith Based Initiatives and the Technique of Duplicating to Undermine or Replace Institutions."

Karen Cross and colleagues from Hospice will lead a discussion entitled ADVANCED DIRECTIVES: PLANNING FOR THE INEVITABLE.  They will also have copies of necessary legal forms, etc. available for whomever needs them.

Bob Vorsteg will lead a poetry session where all are encouraged to bring and read a couple of samples of their own work or a favorite poem by another author.

Janet Joyner will continue her series on Christian Dominionism is a session she's entitled: INCUBATING A REVOLUTION: Michael Farris, Ned Ryun and Home Schooling the Joshua Generation.

Gus Preschle will talk about and share photos of his recent Africa trip in a session he's entitled: SERENGETI SAFARI: Wildlife, Geography and Culture of East Africa.
