Each year a distinguished guest addresses the General Assembly (GA), the national gathering of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). The speeches are funny and fiery, and they inspire and indict.
Through October, we will watch a previous years’ speaker, then have an open discussion about the speech. Some starting points for our discussion: What did the speaker say that gives us a way to grow in our Unitarian Universalism? What made us uncomfortable, and why? What did the speaker say that we hadn’t thought about that way before?
Come to Soul Talk on first and third Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Thoreau-Emerson classroom to share your thoughts and listen to others'. All are welcome, including visitors and first-time guests.
