Since no one’s perfect, what does it mean to lift up some people as models for humanity and worthy of honor, even reverence? Unitarian Universalists are unlikely to ascribe to those “saints” any supernatural powers, but we hold up and esteem some humans, anyway. Rev. Lisa Schwartz will talk about sainthood in the context of our humanistic faith. Everyone is encouraged to bring photographs of their dearly departed loved ones to place on the altar during the service.

RE Classrooms
Grade level RE classes are held during the second, or 11 am, service only. There are no RE classes during the first service. Children and youth begin in the Service and proceed to the classrooms after the Story in the early part of the Service. Nursery is offered during both services and in between. Childcare is offered in between services.
