Care Committee Needs Help!

I joined the Fellowship because I needed a community that cared about me. Now I belong to the Care Committee that helps to implement caring in our community. The Care Committee needs new folks to join our committee. We meet once a month on the second Thursday at noon. Are you available to join us?  If you are interested but can’t make this time, we can accommodate your schedule and give you a specific job.

Rock Painting a BIG Success!

Fellowship members had a “rockin” good time at the Petree School Fall Festival, on Friday, October 13. Jim Norris, Cindy Naylor, Herman Schmid, Pierre Vidi & Joelle Muhlemann (and their sons Raphael & Leo) joined Don Kautz and 60 aspiring artists as they painted rocks at our ArtRocks! table. What could’ve been a total mess, ended up being a great opportunity for these kids to express themselves. Fun was had by all! This is just one of many projects at Petree this school year. We hope you can join us for future ones.

Reception in Memorial Garden

Reception in Memorial Garden, October 29th, immediately following the 2nd service. The Memorial Committee invites everyone to come to our beautiful Memorial Garden after the Traditional service on Sunday October 29th for cookies, coffee, and punch. Enjoy the tranquility of the space we've set aside to remember our loved ones. We promise you'll be in good company! There are several names recently engraved -- take a moment to connect and remember.

Now That You've Made Your Pledge...

And if you haven’t, what’s stopping you? You can make your pledge easily on-line under the giving tab or by stopping by the Library before or after the 11:00 service. And after you have done that, come to the Annual Fund Drive Party, Saturday, Oct.21 from 6:30 t0 8:30. We’ll provide tasty desserts and coffee. Wine, however, is BYOB! The price of admission is your completed pledge. We’ll also provide childcare – just let Gregg Jamback know the ages and the number of children you will be bringing. (336-287-2350 or

Hispanic League ID Program Needs Snack Support

The Hispanic Awareness group of W-S, which has a strong association with our Fellowship Social Action Council, will be having an Hispanic ID drive, to allow immigrants to obtain identification which can potentially be used for many things, including hospital admittance, recognition by police, assistance in getting a bank account, etc. We are supporting this effort by providing healthy snacks (low sugar, and no nuts or peanuts, please!) for 100 people. To donate, email Jim Norris at Donations can also be dropped off in the Fellowship foyer in the bin near the Social Action Council table by Thursday, October 12. Thank you!
