Pam Lepley

Director of Religious Education
Pam Lepley coordinates and oversees our religious education classes for children, youth and adults. She also creates and implements enrichment programs that reach beyond the traditional classroom setting. Pam brings wonderful energy and enthusiasm to her work, and all members of our Fellowship enjoy and benefit from her guidance and company during classes, field trips, day camps, retreats and reunions. At “Coffee With Pam” on Thursday mornings, she is available for friendly conversation and a listening ear. In her words: “I value the community the members have created at UUFWS and enjoy working with families and watching their children grow into young adults."
To further her professional development, Pam participates regularly in continuing education and learning opportunities provided by the Unitarian Universalist Association and its Thomas Jefferson District. Pam graduated from Wake Forest University in 1992 with a BA degree in sociology and a minor in religion. She was a battered women’s advocate and the coordinator of a rape crisis program for eight years at a shelter in Concord. Before working at UUFWS, she was a foster-care social worker for the Guilford County Department of Social Services. Pam lives in High Point with her husband, Matthew; her mother-in-law, Jackie; daughters Alexandra and Willa; and two dogs, a cat and a rabbit.
Pam has office hours Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 9am - 1 pm. She is available other times by appointment, dre@uufws.org or 336.884.0428.
