Research has shown the therapeutic value of drumming. The cooperative and inclusive nature of a drum circle promotes feelings of connectedness and creates a safe and nonverbal release for emotions. Many find drumming a spiritual experience.

In addition to the many health benefits, drumming also provides a new connection to and understanding of music and other cultures. This class teaches West African rhythms with arrangements.

But the greatest benefit of drumming is the incredible sense of happiness and joy that comes from a fun, failure-free learning environment and a community of kindred spirits. We encourage you to try it out and experience the benefits of drumming for yourself.
