Come discuss ingenious, elegant, simple (and not-so-simple) solutions to reduce carbon emissions and heal the planet!  We have the solutions to stop global warming-- what are they and how can we get those solutions implemented? The topic for March is Energy.  "We are squarely in the middle of the greatest energy transition in history," the book declares. Let's explore what the end of fossil fuels looks like for us, our communities, our country and our planet. We'll be using the book: "Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming," edited by Paul Hawken. Each monthly discussion will focus on a “climate fix’ to drawdown the carbon in the atmosphere. Bring your friends. The public is welcome.  "Book sharing" is available. For more information, contact eco@uufws.org. We will meet the Fourth Thursday of the month, excluding June and July. Click for the list of monthly topics.
