During this workshop, we will help our participants broaden their horizons by discussing topics such as: 1) Gender Identities and Sexual Orientation – How to Be Respectful Through Language. 2) Engaging our Nonbinary and Polyamorous Peers by Focusing on Their Inherent Worth and Dignity . 3) Enhancing Our Self-Determination by Setting and Respecting Personal Boundaries. We will use a combination of engaging discussions, small-group role play, and a series of activities designed to be thought-provoking and challenging. Please plan on joining us on Sunday, June 30th from 12:30 – 2:30. We will be serving a light lunch with refreshments. Childcare is available with advanced registration so that we may enlist care providers.  Please request childcare by contacting Pam Lepley at by midnight on June 23rd.

Soul Talk is a discussion group addressing contempoerary issues and focused on deep sharing and mutual respect. Come to Soul Talk on 1st and 3rd Mondays (some holidays excepted) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Thoreau-Emerson classroom to share your thoughts and listen to others' on the session topic. All are welcome, including visitors and first-time guests.

Help prepare lunch for the Sunnyside Freedom School scholars! The Fellowship has committed to providing one healthy lunch a week for six weeks to assist this reading-intensive free summer program for children in the Sunnyside neighborhood. Last year our crew had plenty of fun, food, and great conversation while we cooked together. Meal prep starts at 5:30, but if you get there by 6:15, there will be plenty left to do.
