His willingness to question traditional religious ideas brought him not only a sense of increased understanding and wonder, but also interpersonal conflict and anxiety. Please join us for a viewing of the documentary film Questioning Darwin followed by discussion on the challenges that arise at the intersection of science, religion, and doubt.

One in five children in North Carolina goes to bed hungry. Learn more about food insecurity in our state, and specifically in Winston Salem - and how you can make a difference. Two short films will be shown, followed by discussion to be led by local community leaders from SHARE and the "Think Orange" campaign to combat hunger in Winston Salem. SAC Social Justice Documentary & Dialogue nights are held the third Thursday of each month, in conjunction with the Parkway United Church of Christ.
